For the Civil War period Quartermaster Sergeant the chevrons included three bars in V pattern with three ties across the top. These chevrons come in a dark blue or grey wool background, with the pattern in the color of the branch of Army represented. The pattern is available in in silk or cotton strips, but cotton was more widely used. Sold in pair.
