This is one awesome, well balanced sword that caters to slicing and cutting, although the tip is plenty sharp to penetrate if needed. Certainly one a Persian Prince might carry, with an old world proven cutting design mated to modern materials. Solid, stainless steel hilt w/ real wood inlay. 420 stainless steel blade is 2 3/4" at its widest point. Includes padded, nylon shoulder carry scabbard. Overall: 24-3/4", Blade: 17-1/4" long
