Similar to the Cavalry Saber used by the Union soldiers, the Confederate Cavalry Saber was the most widely used sword by the troops in the Confederate Army. This sword has a brass three-branch guard and a brown leather grip. The grip is wrapped with brass wire. The letters "CSA" are stamped on the ricasso. The saber comes with a metal scabbard with brass ring mounts and drag. The blade has the "unstopped" fuller that was typical for Confederate swords.
This sword is hand made of tempered high carbon steel by Windlass Steelcrafts of India.
