This strong one-handed training waster is hand-crafted of steamed beechwood, representing edge-weapon designs from the 12th to 15th centuries. Contrasting wood guard and pommel. Overall length 38-1/4 inches. This one-handed Medieval practice sword is the perfect companion for medieval combat training in a completely safe manner. A wooden sword, or waster, allowed a warrior to practice full combat safely and economically while preserving his precious steel for the real battle to come.
