The Model 1860 Union Cavalry Officer's Saber is a finely crafted reproduction inspired by one of the most recognizable blades among US Civil War weapons. Designed as a traditional cavalry saber, it reflects the style carried by mounted officers during the American Civil War.

This impressive officer saber features a hand-forged blade made from British military specification steel, capable of flexing over 20° and returning to true. The blade is beautifully etched with “U.S.” and “E Pluribus Unum,” along with decorative foliage and military trophy designs consistent with period officer presentation sabers.

The grip is constructed with leather and wrapped in wire for secure handling. A hand-chased and engraved brass three-branch guard protects the hand while maintaining the classic appearance associated with a union cavalry saber. The brass pommel is also carefully engraved to match the ornate detailing found on historical officer swords.

This cavalry saber includes a steel scabbard fitted with a brass throat, rings, and drag, allowing it to be worn properly with military uniform equipment.
