Product Overview
The Smatchet, an efficient knife/machete, was designed by William Fairbairn in World War II for the OSS and British SAS for covert operations. This is an accurate replica of the original; it has a 1065 high carbon steel blade, blued matte finish, and hardwood grip. The cast aluminum pommel has a lanyard hole, and even the black leather-covered hardwood lined sheath matches the original.
