This is an official licensed prop replica sword from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. It includes a wood display plaque and a certificate of authenticity.
This authentically detailed sword replica is a reproduction of the actual filming prop sword made by Weta Workshop of New Zealand and used in the hit films by New Line Cinema (over 20 years ago, if you can believe it!).
Faramir was Captain of the Rangers of Ithilien, a noble soldier of Gondor, and the brother of Boromir. He guarded the borderlands against the evil Sauron. This extremely detailed sword has a solid metal guard and pommel with an antique steel finish and a genuine leather-wrapped grip. The cross guard is adorned with a gold twin raven emblem and the pommel is accented with gold rings. The 33" false-edged blade is crafted of tempered stainless steel with a fuller groove.
