The US Model 1855 Musket Cartridge Box was for use by Infantry and Dismounted Troops during the Civil War. Made from high grade black leather, this replica cartridge box comes with a seventy-two inch one piece leather shoulder strap. It has an inner flap and an implement pouch. Comes with two tin inserts. It has two straps in the back to hold the sling, or can be worn on the belt. Comes in black leather. Russet Brown also available for wearing on waist-belt only
