The British Army finally standardized this sword which was carried by Infantry officers. This sword was quickly adopted and was universal amongst line infantry officers by 1800. The blade is engraved with the royal cypher along with various foliage and trophies. We have made sure this reproduction has a silver wire wrapped grip and a folding shell guard with spring. The urn shaped pommel and graceful D-guard completes this relic of an age of elegance. Blade length:31 1/2"
