Product Overview
This is a beautiful replica of the British Infantry Officer's from 1897. It has the royal cypher and crown. British officers were expected to buy their own swords. The unique looking sword-knot with its distinctive acorn was a part of the sword. It was a wrist strap intended to avoid the loss of the sword in the battle. The field version came with the wooden leather-wrapped scabbard. Experts say that this type of sword is one of the best swords ever made for infantry officers. 40"
