Product Overview
The 1912 U.S. Cavalry Officer's sword is very similar to the earlier British 1908 Pattern. It received its name because it was patterned in the year of 1912 by the British War Department. Hilt is constructed in nickel-plated sheet steel, half-basket style, with imitation fish-skin grip wrapped in twisted steel wire, and a decorated basket. Straight, single-edged, single-fullered blade (both sides). The Scabbard is Sam Browne type, brown leather-wrapped wood, nickel-plated steel throat, leather drag.
