Civil War period Confederate uniform collar rank insignia for Army Captains. Three horizontal bars of golden metallic tape, each 1/2 inch wide , the upper bar is 3" in length, the front edge of the bars to incline to correspond with the angle of the collar, and is to be 3/4th of an inch from the edge of the collar. The line of the back edges to be vertical. The background corresponds to the branch of the army. Sold in pair.
