Product Overview
This sword has a 34" slightly curved blade with a single tapering fuller on both sides of the blade. The pommel is heavy and in an inverted cone shape, an identifying feature of College Hill Arsenal swords. The brass guard looks as if it was stamped from a sheet, but it was cast. The grip is black leather wound with a thick copper wire. Our replica comes with a steel scabbard with brass mounts. Many sabers of this type were found in Virginia, indicating their association with the Army of Northern Virginia. Overall length: 42 inches.
