Product Overview
This officer’s sword is a detailed replica of the Confederate States Armoury sword originally produced by Louis Froelich of Kenansville, North Carolina. Used by infantry and staff officers during the Civil War, this design became a recognizable pattern between 1861 and 1864.
The sword features a fullered blade made from tempered carbon steel, giving it a clean and structured profile. The brass guard is cut with the letters “CSA,” which creates a distinct Confederate identity while maintaining period styling. In addition, the brass pommel complements the overall construction and adds balance to the design.
The grip is crafted from wood and covered with black leather, then wrapped with a single brass wire. This combination provides a firm structure while preserving a traditional appearance. The materials work together to create a consistent and refined finish.
