Product Overview
This sword has an etched blade, grip is wood covered with black leather and wrapped with twisted wire. The guard is of half-basket pattern pierced for a sword knot near the pommel and cut out as it turns towards the blade to resemble many branches. In the center of the counter guard formed by these branches is an American eagle and shield superimposed by flags and ribbon of stars above. There is also a counter guard on the reverse side. All parts of the hilt are brass, and the sword comes with a metal scabbard with brass fittings. Overall length is 37 3/4". Blade length is 32 1/4" by 1 1/8" wide at the hilt. Made by Windlass, India
