Also known as the Memphis Novelty Works sword after the company owned by Thomas Leech and Charles Rigdon of Memphis, TN, this sword could be either a foot officer's or staff officer's in terms of style. The blade is made of tempered carbon steel. The brass guard features floral decorations and the raised letters "CS" cast in a small oval cast on the reverse top of the counter guard. The grip is wood covered with black leather and wrapped with twisted wire. Comes with blued steel scabbard with brass plain fittings. Blade length: 30", Overall length: 38".
